Since 2014, PEXA has facilitated more than 15 million property settlements through the PEXA Exchange in Australia.
PEXA has launched refinancing capability in the UK and operates an insights business that helps government and business unlock the future value of property.
About the role As an Associate Data Analyst, you'll collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges.
Leveraging advanced analytics skills, you'll develop innovative data-driven solutions and insights to address complex problems.
Working alongside senior analysts, you'll ensure proper data utilisation to inform decisions and enhance product offerings through tangible customer value.
Your responsibilities include conducting in-depth analyses, writing sophisticated code, creating compelling data visualisations, and empowering stakeholders with rich insights.
You'll have opportunities to shadow senior analysts, accelerating your learning in this discipline.
With your analytical mindset, you'll translate complex data into actionable intelligence that drives smart business decisions and shapes better outcomes.
Key Accountabilities Produce insightful analysis and reports tailored to business stakeholders' needs and objectivesDevelop interactive and engaging data visualisations (e.g.
Tableau, Streamlit) to empower data-driven decision-makingEnsure operational excellence by delivering on key priorities through the Decision Intelligence teamActively participate in Quality Assurance, Peer Reviews, and responsible data management processes, upholding delivery principlesCollaborate with the team to refine Decision Intelligence & Analytics strategies, directly managing and influencing projects/deliverablesChampion Data Governance principles, maintaining high standardsFoster a data-driven culture by promoting cross-functional collaboration and supporting data-informed decision-making across the organisationSkills and Experience 0-2 years' data analyst experience or equivalentProficient in coding languages (SQL as a minimum, Python preferred)Strong grasp of data analysis, modeling, statistics, analytics, engineering, and securityExperience with Snowflake, Streamlit, dbt, TableauAbility to engage stakeholders and build relationshipsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skillsAgile methodology knowledgeFamiliarity with JIRA, Scrum boards, user storiesKey Attributes Excellent communicator, conveying complex information clearly across all levelsResults-driven mindset, prioritising high-value tasks for the businessGrowth-oriented, eager to continuously learn technical and soft skillsAdaptable and resilient, navigating change with a positive attitudeStrong grasp of data analytics, modeling, visualisation, and best practicesFamiliarity with data platforms, ETL/ELT tools, and warehousing technologiesProficient in SQL and at least one programming language like PythonCollaborative team player, building relationships across functionsNot all skills required immediately, willingness to learn is keyWhat you'll be responsible for Data Cleaning and Preparation: Extract and clean data ready to use in analysis or to users
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to discover and communicate insights, and offer concrete recommendations for key stakeholders to make critical decisions
Data Management and Visualization: Create and maintain the organization's Business Intelligence tools, and present complex data in simple, visual ways for key stakeholders
Skills you'll need Learning agility: Identifies and applies strategies to enhance reception, retention and use of newly acquired information, skills, and abilities
Numerical problem solving: Works with numerical information and performs mathematical calculations to solve problems
Attention to detail: Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exist in information and deliverables
