Transport Manager

HXR is a locally owned and operated company located in Clovass NSW - We provide high quality quarry products and civil earthworks to the Northern Rivers.
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Manager The role will be based at Clovass Quarry, and will be responsible for managing truck operations for a large fleet carting quarry products to the Northern Rivers area.
Approximately 35 truck drivers, a transport acclocator (Weighbridge) and a Road transport leading hand all report to this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow an operation that consists of truck & dog, B double timber haulage, diesel fuel haulage (HC and MR), powder/lime haulage as well as general/heavy plant float work.
Essential role requirements: Must hold a valid Australian HC or MC Drivers licence Current white card (Or can obtain prior to starting) HC truck operating experience (2+ years) Flexible with daily tasks and ability to adapt as conditions and project Priorities Change.
Ability to Start - ASAP Safety conscious & reliable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Self-Motivated to Safely achieve daily targets as set by Supervisor.
leadership skills or experience Ability to manage truck fleet efficiencies and improve performance Good computer skills, able to utilise GPS programs and basic Microsoft office Desirable role requirements: Mobile plant/Quarry operating experience Demonstrated experience in a similar role Competitive hourly rate/salary can be negotiated for the successful candidate.
