As a key member of our Victorian team, we are looking for a professional and suitably qualified senior auditor to perform a variety of Essential Safety Measure (ESM) audits and high-level System Interface Testing (SIT) when required.About the RoleReporting to an experienced senior manager, you will be required to conduct fire safety audits and assessments for our key clients. The main responsibilities include:Inspections against relevant standards of performance/maintenanceAuditing of contractor maintenance recordsProducing a range of client reportsConducting System Interface Testing with associated contractors or consultants to test and assess the operation of componentsConducting passive fire inspections and producing compliance reportsAccount management of several client portfolios and when necessary undertake NCC Building Code of Australia compliance reviews.About YouIdeally, you'll bring with you the following:Solid experience as an ESM auditor, Building Inspector, or in an aligned role in Building, Engineering, Facilities Management of commercial and industrial type buildingsThe ability to identify and evaluate risk to buildingsAn attention to detail and ability to proficiently write high-quality building reports in a timely mannerAbility to inspect buildings and work autonomouslyProficiency with digital technology and industry apps (Uptick preferred)Current Australian Drivers LicenceHave a solid understanding of NCC, BCA and/or WHS/risk identification/evaluation to existing buildingsPreferred qualifications:Diploma or Bachelors level qualification in Fire Safety Engineering, Building Surveying, Applied Science (Building), or Building Services ManagementFPAS accreditationWhat We Offer:Flexible Working ArrangementsFortnightly rostered day off scheme (optional)Remuneration package commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experienceCompany-sponsored technical training, mentoring for industry-leading senior professionals, and exposure to end-to-end building compliance servicesIf this sounds like you, then we'd love to hear from you Please apply by sending your resume and cover letter.
