Food and Beverage Supervisor Located at the iconic National Gallery of VictoriaRoster: Weds-Sun but negotiable$28.87 (before casual loading)Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events, corporate cocktail parties to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences.
THE POSITION: Assisting the Retail Manager with day-to-day operations across our outlets with the main focus on the well-renowned Garden Restaurant.Assist in coordinating the front of house team's daily operations.Lead the team to deliver exceptional, prompt, and friendly service.Lead from the front, mentor and train the team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment.Optimise team members rostered to increase revenue and productivity.Address any guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.Consistently follow safety guidelines when performing tasks or using equipment, reporting all hazards, near misses, or accidents to appropriate personnel.THE PERSON: Demonstrated previous experience in a similar restaurant/retail environment.Experience leading a team, identifying opportunities for improvement, training, and developing staff.Good knowledge of the Melbourne food and beverage scene.Excellent communication skills, ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions with up to 12 team members.Experience with an online booking system.Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail.Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.THE BENEFITS: Enjoy great rostering flexibility; our Garden Restaurant is only open for lunch service.Opportunity to learn new skills and advance your career with training support and professional development within one of the biggest global hospitality businesses – full Barista training to be provided.Access to 100+ retail discounts.We are an ecological and socially forward operation – committed to minimising food waste and single-use plastic.If you have any questions please email ******
