With the previous Assistant Centre Manager/Ed Leader and Centre Manager both available to provide ongoing support, you will be nurtured as you settle in and make this role your own.Benefits Include:Flexible working hours and paid staff meetings.5% Above Award wages plus Educational Leader allowance.Strong mentoring programme.Generous discount for childcare for immediate family members.Wellness support with access to Employee Assistance Program.Annual staff conference and staff training plan allowing choice of professional development to support lifelong learning.Annual bonus for Montessori-qualified staff in accordance with KPIs.Salary sacrifice available for bespoke personal IT device purchases (in addition to centre supplied equipment).About The Role:Partner with our Centre Manager to lead our team of educators to maintain an inclusive, supportive, fun, and friendly environment for both educators and families alike.Inspire, mentor, and develop our educators throughout their professional journey with Building Futures Montessori.Work collaboratively with the Centre Manager and Centre Administrator to manage the day-to-day operation of an established Montessori Childcare Centre including curriculum supervision, facilities oversight, staff management, and administrative tasks to ensure the provision of high-quality education and care at all times.Communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members to build successful collaborative relationships.Flexible work hours supporting the opening/closing of the centre, some in room contact hours when required.Selection Criteria:Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher (essential).Diploma of Montessori (highly preferred) or willing to obtain (subsidised course costs available).AMI training preferred and/or a willingness to undertake refresher workshops.Previous Experience as a Centre Manager, Assistant Centre Manager or Educational Leader highly regarded.Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.A history of taking initiative to lead and inspire individuals and teams to achieve success.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and relationship skills, and a genuine empathic interest in people.First Aid & CPR certification or willing to obtain.Current Blue card.
