Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?We are seeking a casual Support Worker who is available to support a variety of shifts Monday to Sunday.
Day shifts may be 6am-1.30pm or 1pm-6.30pm, and evening shifts including sleep over shifts span 6pm-6.30am.
As a Support Worker you will assist our customers at Boronia Cottage on Bribie Island, which is a modern, purpose-built home for short term respite care as well as customers in the community.
No two days are the same and your duties will include delivering personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, accompanying our customers on shopping trips and appointments, community outings and activities, providing general companionship, and helping our customers build social networks.

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold a valid Driver's Licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured.
A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, and CPR and First Aid certificates are also required in this position.

Effective 13 January 2025, due to changes to the SCHADS Award the rate of pay will increase to:
$40.48 per hour, plus superannuation for Aged Care Workers with a Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent$39.55 per hour, plus superannuation for Aged Care Workers without a Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalentApply NowPlease provide a resume along with a covering letter that outlines your availability for rostering.
