What You Will Get To Do:
Develop policies and procedures based on industry best practices, necessary to carry out day to day server operations and ensure business continuity for both internal and client based servers.
Provide project implementation oversight to ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met.
Plan and execute (when necessary) server changes / outages with knowledge of change management.
Participate in the development of IT Strategies in collaboration with direct management team Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Occasional Travel to US-Based office may be required – 1 to 2 times per year for up to 5 days What You Will Bring:
Systems Administration: Experience with Windows Server 2008 to WS2019/2022.
Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and automation of repetitive tasks and interacting with APIs.
Experience with SaltStack or other configuration management tool (foreman, ansible, puppet, terraform) Cloud and Server Management: Experience managing servers in both cloud environments (e.g., Azure, private cloud) and on-premises.
Networking and Storage: Knowledge of DFS, file server management, and troubleshooting server communication issues.
Performance and Security: Experience in server monitoring, tuning, patch management using technologies like WSUS, SCCM, and understanding of SOC2/ISO compliance is highly desirable.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, especially in complex or multi-cloud environments.
Bonus Experience:
Advanced Data Handling: Ability to write moderately complex SQL queries.
Monitoring and Visualization: Experience with Grafana for dashboard creation.
Virtualization and Packaging: Familiarity with VMWare, Packer, and deployment technologies like Chocolaty.
Certifications: Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
