With a collection of premium venues across Sydney, they specialise in creating tailored events that captivate and inspire—from breathtaking weddings and dazzling galas to high-impact corporate functions and milestone celebrations that leave a lasting impression.THE ROLEAs the Director of Sales & Strategy, you will lead the charge in driving sales growth and strategic success for a renowned events and hospitality group. Oversee sales teams across premium Sydney venues, develop innovative strategies, and build lasting client relationships. This role combines leadership, business development, and operational excellence to deliver outstanding results across weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Build and maintain strong client relationships, securing repeat business and expanding market presence.Manage and maintain your own portfolio of B2B client sales.Set sales targets and revenue goals in alignment with the company's overall objectives.Set and implement sales and business strategy/planning.Drive sales excellence: define and control sales and service KPIs.Maintain client relationships to book repeat business and maximise the lifetime value.Lead the preparation and submission of tender proposals for government and private contracts.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, industry bodies, and relevant government agencies to support brand initiatives.About you:Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position (Sales Director, Sales Manager, Head of Partnerships) within the Events or Hospitality space.Strong communicator with customers/stakeholders at all levels - corporate.Previous experience in achieving company revenue goals and growth of the business.Ability to interpret, communicate, and work in accordance with Company policies and procedures.Benefits:Work with Sydney's most iconic and luxurious event spaces, each offering unique opportunities to create unforgettable experiences.Collaborate directly with senior executives and be at the forefront of major business development initiatives.Enjoy an attractive salary, performance incentives, and opportunities for professional development.This role is an integral part of the business, it's a high-profile position working to elevate and represent this luxury company and be at the forefront of growing the talented team.
