And we've been doing it for over 170 years.If we do our job well, we genuinely add to the prosperity of our country and its people.Purpose of the role:The purpose of this role is to provide high quality governance support to the Trustee Board and its CommitteesHow will you make an impactReview and draft policies to ensure regulatory compliance by regularly assessing existing policies and creating new ones to meet evolving regulatory and reporting standards.Produce written papers for the Trustee Board and Committees by developing comprehensive and well-researched documents to support decision-making processes.Provide feedback on Board and Committee papers from internal service providers by evaluating and offering constructive feedback to ensure the papers meet the Trustee's obligations and requirements.Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to STO projects by addressing questions and solving problems related to projects undertaken by the Superannuation Trustee Office.Assist with scheduling, analysis, and reporting for the quarterly Trustee Board Reporting Framework (TBRF) by coordinating and contributing to the preparation and presentation of quarterly reports.What you will bring to the role Ideally at least 3 years' experience working in superannuation, insurance or other financial services roleBroad understanding and experience of a superannuation regulatory environment and the obligationsUnderstanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for financial services Your Bachelor's degree in finance related discipline or law as well as Superannuation Industry qualification (e.g.
RG146) not essential but would be well regardedYou will bring excellent relationship development and stakeholder management skills and can successfully apply these abilities within the Legal & Governance team and across the broader AMP group.
Moreover, your day-to day decision making demonstrate a commitment to driving positive superannuation member outcomes.Whether it's navigating routine or varied problems you're adept at identifying solutions that improve or modify existing processes.Effective communication skills, such as written, verbal, virtual or face to face, are essential.
