Personal Care Worker

Do you have an unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and a car for work use? Our team has an increasing requirement for engaged, experienced and dedicated PCWs for ongoing, consistent rosters, to support older Australians to live well, in the comfort of their own homes.
ABOUT YOU To be considered for this important and rewarding work, you will have:
Cert III in Personal Care/Aged Care/CommunityMinimum six months (600 hours) paid experience working with older Australians in the communitySenior First Aid CertificateCurrent Police Clearance (if you don't have we will provide at no cost)Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and car for work useAn empathetic, patient and caring natureExceptional communication skills & be able to build respectful relationships.ABOUT THE ROLE In the community team, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life by helping with everyday activities and assisting them to do the things they love.
Every client is different, and tasks may include:
Assistance with personal care (showering and dressing)Household cleaning and laundryMeal preparationTransport to and from appointments / shopsSocial supportMedication promptsProviding respite for familyAssisting with complex care needs.ABOUT US The Alpha Support at Home team is focused on providing stellar support to our clients.
