An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Governance and Compliance Officer to take on this important role.
The Position: In this newly created role, you will support governance and compliance activities across the institution, by fulfilling internal compliance obligations and external regulatory compliance requirements.
The key responsibilities are: Deliver administrative support to governance and operations committees of the CollegeSupport the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with statutory obligationsAdminister policy and procedure frameworkAdministrative management of the Risk RegisterOHS administrative managementAbout You: To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
Relevant experience providing high-level administrative, compliance and governance supportProficiency in administrative tasks including minute-taking & scheduling, with excellent attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.Experience in data gathering, analysis, research and report writingStrong information technology skills and experience with a particular focus on Microsoft Office Suite and database management.Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholdersTertiary education in Business or Administration (beneficial, but not essential).What's on Offer: Located in Parkville, close to public transport, and with parking available, this opportunity is a part-time (0.6 or 0.8) 12-month fixed-term position giving the chance to work alongside a wonderful team and organisation that understands, supports and encourages.
Offering an FTE salary package of $105,000 including superannuation (pro-rata), this role provides opportunities for professional growth and engagement in meaningful projects and the chance to make a tangible impact with a reputable organisation.
