COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES TRAINER AND RESOURCE DEVELOPER An opportunity exists to join our team as Community Health Services Trainer and Resource Developer for our Community Health Services programs.
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and lead students in learning activities to successfully meet the competency requirements of the course.
The role includes provision of support and feedback to students during the course and observation and assessment of student competency and performance according to course requirements.
This role is also to develop engaging and compliant learning and assessment resources.
Selection Criteria to be addressed in application Successfully completed a qualification in a relevant field equivalent to or above the course you are teaching (Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Ageing Support)Successfully completed TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalentMinimum 2 years current teaching or facilitation experienceCourse resource and assessment development experienceMinimum 5 years clinical experience in health care industry (ageing, disabilities)Current Working With Children CheckCurrent industry skills and experience directly relevant to the training and assessment being providedComputer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to engage, lead, mentor and encourage students in classroom and clinical environmentsAbility to validate assessment items and judgementsAbility to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentAbility to manage student matters in academic and non-academic issuesExperience working with student management systems including aXcelerateUnderstanding of Smart and Skilled (NSW Government subsidised training) contract requirementsAll applications must include:
