This is an opportunity to work for a NSW Government department, one of the biggest employers in Australia.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6 months from start date

About your new roleSupport the delivery of WHS committee actions; and related WHS programs.
There are a range of initiatives that have been agreed, and the position would be expected to enable and progress all related initiatives.
This is support to the P&C Business Partner over the course of the engagement, but initially to provide direct cover for that position.
Therefore, any partnering, employee matters or complaints, workforce and position management, in conjunction with the broader P&C team.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding support for new starters (albeit a limited need more recently).Potential policy and other communications, including to finalize a new employee handbook, and content for publishing on the internal intranet.Training support, although this would be on an as-needs basis, following discussion with the broader team.Other accountabilities aligned to the P&C Business Partner position description.What you will needRelevant tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field.A sound knowledge of Commonwealth, State and Local Government legislation.Ability to work within a small, dynamic and fast-paced team environment.This is a great opportunityWorking for the NSW Government not only allows you to make a contribution through the work that you do, it also allows you to be a part of something bigger.
