We value flexibility; this role can be performed at any of the AER offices located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney and are available on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
This process will be used to fill an initial non-ongoing position for up to 12-18 months with a possibility of extension.
A merit pool for non-ongoing and on-going positions arising in the next 18 months will also be established.

The key duties of the position include: Lead a small team and ensure the AER's administration and Executive Assistants are effectively coordinated and represented.
Oversee the provision of Secretariat services to the Senior Leadership Team, Senior Executive Service and the AER Senior Management Forum.
Build and develop collaborative relationships to partner with a range of stakeholders including operational teams and other Departments and agencies, managing relationships effectively to balance conflicting priorities and influencing decisions.
Oversee the office of the Chief Executive Officer including managing relationships with key stakeholders and representing the AER CEO in various committees and working groups.
Prepare, manage and review high level communications and papers including briefings and reports.
Provide input to policies, procedures and systems to ensure the CEO's views are well represented.
