About your new role As a Revenue Administration Officer, this is an opportunity to join a government agency on a temporary 3-month contract.
Based at either Westmead or Kogarah Hospital, this role plays a key part in providing administrative, revenue, and financial support to ensure accurate billing and revenue generation.
Location: Westmead Hospital or Kogarah Hospital Rate: $35.22 per hour Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Key Responsibilities Deliver a full range of administrative and revenue support functions using various billing systems and software applications.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Update and maintain records in electronic patient information and billing systems to ensure accuracy.
Liaise with patients, local health districts, Medicare, health funds, and other organizations to facilitate proper billing and revenue processes.
Contribute to the improvement of practices and procedures within a team-oriented environment.
Participate in team meetings, training, and performance development as required.
Uphold the values of NSW Health Pathology and adhere to the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
Requirements Proficiency in administrative and data entry tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Excel.
Experience with billing systems and healthcare administration is advantageous.
