Electrician: preventative and reactive maintenance We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Engineering Services Team as an Electrical Technician. As part of your role, you will work with the wider maintenance team to keep the machines at our Seven West Media facility running at 100 percent.
You will embrace the dynamic rhythm of a 12-hour rotating 3 shift schedule, spanning every day of the week. Occasionally, you'll find yourself working 4 shifts per week, each lasting 9.5 hours. These shifts can comprise of morning, intermediate or night shifts.
To be successful you must possess: WA Electrical licenceAbility to work on a rotating shift pattern comprising mostly of 12 hr shifts with a 3 day week. Some 4 x 9.5hr shifts will also be requiredA comprehensive understanding of electrical safety procedures and relevant electrical Australian StandardsDemonstrated and well-developed electrical/mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills in a high speed manufacturing environmentCompetent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systemsExperience with PLC's, SCADA, Building Management systems and networking protocols including proficiency in diagnostics and fault findingWell-developed time management and problem-solving skillsA customer focus with strong communication skills and ability to work autonomouslyFlexibility to work on a rotating roster inclusive of 3-4 shifts per week where weekend work and shift coverage will be requiredCertificate IV in Instrumentation and Control or similar demonstrated capabilitiesWorkplace experience with IT networks and hardwareHV Switching TicketExperience with robotic and automated systems such as printing equipment, packaging equipment, Laser Guided Vehicles, PalletisersCompetence with computerised maintenance management systems (MEX)Previous experience working in a print manufacturing facilityWe offer: Working in comfort in our well-maintained and air-conditioned print factoryA remuneration package with attractive shift loading, penalties and possible over time6 weeks of annual leave per year with a 20% annual leave loadingOsborne Park location with a free onsite gym and free onsite parkingDiscounted HBF health insuranceSalary sacrifice packagingWork Perks program offering a range of discounts on some of the most popular brandsIf this sounds like you, we want to hear from you Please apply by submitting your written application and ensuring your resume thoroughly details your experience.
