How will I help?
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Portfolio Director to lead and manage our UNITE program of work.
This role is critical in ensuring effective portfolio governance, reporting, metrics tracking, and financial performance, thus ensuring program delivery success.
The successful candidate will also manage and resolve issues and incidents arising from data program execution.
Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of a large portfolio of UNITE projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Develop and implement portfolio governance frameworks and processes.
Track and report on portfolio metrics, cadence, and financial performance.
Issue and Incident Management: Manage issues and incidents that arise from data program execution.
Ensure timely resolution of issues and incidents, coordinating with relevant stakeholders as needed.
Leadership and Coordination: Lead and manage actions related to the data program, ensuring effective execution and delivery.
Coordinate with various teams and departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Lead and manage multi-disciplined teams to enable delivery success while maintaining good employee engagement.
Manage a team of data delivery leads to ensure successful delivery of data migration projects.
Risk Management: Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, issues, and resolutions to senior management.
Communicate portfolio governance policies and practices to stakeholders at all levels.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the portfolio management framework.

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in portfolio management and a proven track record of delivering results.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Management, or a related field.
Extensive experience in managing a large portfolio of projects, particularly within the financial services industry.
Demonstrable experience with data migration projects, handling a wide array of projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Strong understanding of portfolio governance, metrics tracking, and financial performance management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage issues and incidents effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
Data migration experience for large-scale data programs within financial services is highly desirable.
