About the Role This dual role is responsible for executing data management activities within the Avant Finance business division and using data to gain insights to assist decisions within the organisation.
This role focuses on maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to support the organisation's data governance objectives and developing reports/dashboards to support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Data GovernanceDiscovers/classifies sensitive data and conducts data loss prevention activities.Conducts data risks and controls self-assessments to identify gaps requiring uplift.Maintains and ensures compliance to defined data governance metrics.Champions policies and standards and collaborates across data governance ecosystem to improve practices.Data Analysis and ReportingCollaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver customized reports.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Collaboration and TrainingWork closely with business stakeholders, IT, service providers and data teams to ensure data needs are met.Provide training and support to users on BI tools and best practices.To be successful you will have: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related field (or equivalent work experience).3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis or similar role.Experience with data governance and data quality management practices.Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or QlikView.For more information, please contact Nico Touze, Head of Talent Acquisition at .
