Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Water Supervisor to join our established and dedicated team.Minara Resources is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel.
Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people.

Glencore employs over 145,000 people operates around 150 operating mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for supervising, managing and directing the duties of operator & maintainer teams to deliver required water volumes for budgeted production tonnes and to ensure maximum availability & capacity from the Murrin Murrin water facilities.You will be responsible for:The direct supervision of process operator & maintainer and contractor teams to ensure water facilities are available to fulfill plant requirementsEnsuring all maintenance targets are achieved and the plant is maintained in a safe conditionScheduling maintenance work to minimise impact on productionEnsuring suitability and availability of equipment spares through liaison with area maintenance and maintenance planners and schedulersContributing to Murrin Murrin policies, procedures, and competency-based training programsAbout YouThis role would suit a Water Management Supervisor that has previous experience within a continuously operating plant.
You will also have:A Western Australian drivers' licence (HR or higher preferred)Successful completion of an approved WHS Risk Management unit for statutory supervisors in the mining industryEvidence of successfully passing an applicable legislation examination for statutory supervisorsAt least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a similar operation or industryPoly Welder CertificationTelehandler licenceA strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale continuous operating process plantsA sound understanding of mechanical and chemical processesExperience with rostering and shift planningWhat We OfferWe offer a diverse range of opportunities across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex and technically challenging hydrometallurgical process plant.
