Randstad is partnering with SA Water to find a passionate and skilled Senior Engineer Civil to provide technical expertise and guidance. In this role, you will support the Engineering teams for civil investigation, collaborating with business partners, to adopt suitable new technologies. Your forensic abilities will be crucial in resolving issues for optimal outcomes. As an experienced engineer, you will influence and contribute expertise across the corporation, working with other teams on-site to investigate and resolve problems and processes. You will maintain high engineering proficiency, delivering exceptional advice and technical auditing services for SA Water's capital projects. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact and driving engineering excellence, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity at SA Water.Your New Role:Provide expert support and high-level expertise in Civil and Pipeline engineering matters, focusing on the water and wastewater infrastructure.Offer technical guidance in Safety in Design (SiD) matters.Maintain compliance with corporate frameworks, adhering to all legal, regulatory, and organizational obligations.Identify and evaluate new technologies, driving innovation and best practice improvements in Civil engineering standards and practices.Collaborate within the solutions team and across multidisciplinary teams ensuring engagement with key stakeholders to achieve desired engineering outcomes.Support the review and update of technical standards and guidelines for Civil and Pipeline engineering ensuring compliance and cost-effective fit-for-purpose solutions.Provide support to the Engineering design/studies team for civil investigation.Travel to sites to assess engineering situations frequently.This role has the ability to influence the engineering team. Working with the Principal Engineer to achieve the company objectives, as the Senior Engineer of the Team, you will need the following to be successful:Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.Postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.Sound knowledge of Civil engineering procedures and practices.Experience in the provision of investigation, concept, and detailed design of civil infrastructure.Demonstrated experience in executing complex and critical engineering investigations.Knowledge to develop project-specific civil specifications.Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia (EA) or in the process of obtaining chartership with EA is desirable.A valid driver's license is required.Benefits You Will Get in Return:Flexibility to work from home.Work with cutting-edge technology on a variety of assets and diverse projects.Mentorship and opportunities to build up technical knowledge in engineering to shape the future of the organisation.Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).Wellbeing days, Cultural Leave, Volunteering Day.Super SA benefits.Option to extend your holidays by Purchasing Leave.You will be an integral part of the team and community, working to achieve company strategies.
