Trade and Investment Queensland (Organisation site: )1 William Street, BrisbaneThe Global Investment Attraction (GIA) team collaborates across TIQ and engages with overseas investors and local investees to facilitate major productive inward investment projects.Through this work, the team helps to create new employment, enable technology transfer, and drive new productive foreign investment into Queensland.The GIA team engages with stakeholders including private sector companies, professional services firms, financial institutions, and various government agencies at local, state, federal, and international levels to attract new overseas investment opportunities and projects to Queensland.Are you driven by innovative work where you get to connect with a range of people, collaborating on exciting projects that make a difference in people's lives and strengthen Queensland on a global level?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your perspectives to help shape and progress TIQ now and into the future.As the Manager, Investment, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve investment outcomes across a range of priority industry sectors including renewable energy, financial services, advanced manufacturing, innovation, and other sectors.
You will contribute to meeting TIQ investment targets, work closely with the Director, Global Investment Attraction, and the Global Investment Commissioner, and play an important role contributing to our strategy and a range of global investment projects.The role description will outline any qualifications, licences, and specific requirements of the role.
