If so, we have an exciting opportunity for youAs an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children.
You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework.
Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.About Goodstart West Pymble :Proudly rated as Exceeding according to the National Quality Standard, where you can learn from others in developing your teaching practice to the highest standard.
With the centre of 34 places and located in the leafy suburb of West Pymble near Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park – this centre gives off a cosy, nature-oriented vibe.
A great place to have an intimate, close-knit community feel.Responsibilities :Lead change and champion practice uplift and excellence.Support the centre in working in a full-time position.Qualified Early Childhood Teachers (working 40 hours a week) will have an option for a Rostered Day Off (RDO).Primarily work in the Pre-School Room with flexibility to support other age groups in the centre.Dedicated staff room and programming table for non-contact time of 3 hours on a weekly basis.Rotating shift – flexible leadership schedule tailored to meet the dynamics of our early learning community.Participate in team building activities, get the community involved with the centre and explore cultural diversity within the team.Promote career progression and professional development.What Goodstart can offer you :Receive at least 7% above the award rate.Competitive pay - you'll get paid on par with state primary school Teachers (if you hold your Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent).50% discount off your childcare gap fees and up to 6 weeks paid parental leave.Option to purchase extra leave for even greater work-life balance.First Nations Support and Cultural Leave.Retail and childcare discounts on insurance, travel, and technology.Uniform allowance and employee referral program.You'll need :Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.Current NSW Working with Children Check.If you have previous experience leading change in education and have either a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education), a Diploma qualification, or ACECQA approved equivalent, then we'd love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.How to apply :Click 'Apply Now' and submit your application.
