Tasks include: Working within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining daily and periodic cleaning schedules for food preparation and food service areas2pm-8pm Wednesday to Saturday set rosterServing residents meals in dining hall services and trolley service to rooms, washing dishes, sandwich making, providing cups of tea or coffee to residents and their visitorsProvide feedback regarding residents' likes and dislikes regarding menu planning and escalate any observations or concerns in residents' conditionsPromote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friendsSupport colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertiseAbout you: This is the place for you if you:
Have experience and expertise working in food service; preferably in a health, hotel or aged care settingHave availability to work 2-8pm every Wednesday to Saturday required for perm part time job vacancyCan work at a fast pace as part of a teamAre experienced in customer service and provide excellent standard of serviceHave the initiative and ability to work without supervisionThrive in a team and also appreciate the one-to-one interactionsAre committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check cardCurrent and ongoing flu vaccinationsAustralian working rightsAbility to pass a national police clearance and NDIS ClearanceMake a positive difference in your community – apply now Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply for this role.
