We are seeking a Food Service Assistant for our Mornington Home to work on a Part time basis.
About the role As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents.
You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.
You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.
What You Will Do Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety ProgramContribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staffEnsure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standardsUnderstand residents' special dietary requirementsUnderstand and execute infection control initiativesWhat You Will Bring Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work as a team playerFlexibility to work varied shiftsPrevious experience in Kitchen operationsSound knowledge of Food Safety StandardsProvide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work and up to date COVID & Flu vaccinationsCulture and Benefits Learning & development: With over 40 years' experience, we have created a culture and environment for our staff to learn and grow with opportunity of ongoing professional development.
