About the ProjectParklife Metro JV is leading a transformative Metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with the new Western Sydney Airport that is currently under construction.
This joint venture with Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild aims to deliver 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.
As the largest PPP project ever awarded in NSW, this $5 billion initiative will leave a lasting legacy for the Greater Western Sydney community.

Employed by Webuild, the role on offer is a full-time role based on-site in Badgerys Creek.
This is an ideal next step opportunity for someone that has completed a minimum of 2 years in engineering post-graduation, has been exposed to rail before, and obtains the willingness to learn and support the team.
ResponsibilitiesContribute to a safe work culture and ensure works are delivered to legislative and project standardsReview and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statementsIdentify project challenges and drive the development and implementation of solutionsLiaise, communicate and plan with the foreman and subcontractors on a daily basis to achieve target outcomesEnsure project delivery is compliant with project standardsEnsure works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentationParticipate in and maintain cost management of daily activitiesPrepare documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliersAssist in tracking project expenditures to help manage costs and avoid budget overrunsAssist in the preparation of daily meetings, weekly reports, 3-week lookahead programs, etc.
as requiredMonitor the progress and quality of works by conducting inspections, taking photos, and reporting back to the Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineer as necessaryEnsure allocated work packages and resources are managed to ensure costs are within or below budget, and contribute to the achievement of project targetsCriteriaRelevant Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Project Management2+ years' experience in a construction/engineering environment post graduationStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skillsAbility to develop relationships with project personnel and external stakeholders to achieve and maintain a collaborative working environmentAwareness of budgets and timelinesA passion for constructionAbility to read and interpret plans and have a good understanding and demonstrative experience of civil engineering construction techniquesWhat's next?If you would like to join our team align with the criteria required for the role, we encourage you to submit your CV by clicking 'Apply'.
