We will train you in our ways of working, with safety and quality as our learning priorities and provide you with a structured learning environment with the necessary tools and support to enable you to achieve and succeed in your career with us.Role OverviewThe role of the Maintenance Officer is to support the maintenance team, production and the business by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the deployment of new plant and machinery.
This position will operate out of our Cambridge production mill, which operates 24/7.This position will be ongoing permanent for the right person and is a hands-on role for a dedicated can-do team member to join our experienced team.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this opportunity will see you:Install, fabricate, maintain plant machinery and equipmentMaintain workshop and partsPerform troubleshooting, adjustments, repairs and preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot mechanical faults, production breakdowns and production start-upsTo be successful in this role you will possess:EssentialMinimum 2-3 years' experience as a tradesperson in maintenance advantageous but not necessary.Additional trade qualificationsDemonstrated high level of safety behaviourExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh degree of independence, maturity and initiativeProven ability to prioritise and manage workloads efficiently and demonstrate flexibility in handling changing prioritiesRotating on-call rosterA criminal history/police check and pre-employment medical assessment as organised by Skretting.DesirableExperience in an FMCG environment or with automation, steam or gas appliancesForklift / EWP LicenseRestricted Electrical LicenseWelding experienceDrivers LicenseWhat can we offer you?With OpCos in over 40 countries, you will form part of the Nutreco family, where you can expect the opportunity to accelerate your career across functions, locations and brands.In return for your passion and success, we will reward you with a competitive and generous remuneration package of $90k plus with access to Nutreco's Global Bonus scheme, leave loading, on call allowance, overtime for call outs and superannuation, free onsite parking, with uniform and laundry supplied.
