Executive Director - People, Policy and Workplace Relations

Permanent position within the Education Industry North of Brisbane Working alongside the Leadership Team About the Role:
As the Executive Director - People, Policy and Workplace Relations, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality workplace services and human resource systems.
Supporting a team of 495 teaching and non-teaching staff, you will provide strategic and operational support in:
Recruitment, onboarding, and professional review.
Employment compliance and policy implementation.
Employee relations, including industrial relations, grievances, and workplace disputes.
You will work closely with the leadership team to foster a workplace culture of excellence, trust, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement employee and workplace relations strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Oversee recruitment practices, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organisational policies.
Monitor staff wellbeing, absenteeism, and attrition, developing strategies to enhance staff satisfaction.
Provide strategic advice on remuneration, professional development, and workplace policies.
Maintain accurate HR data and develop effective HR systems to meet organisational needs.

Expertise in industrial relations, policy implementation, and conflict resolution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive workplace relationships.
