We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team in Thomastown.

The Role: Insurance Building Estimator
Direct Reporting : Work directly under the guidance of the Construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities :Accurately estimate and schedule repair projects.
Utilise industry-leading technology to excel in estimating and supervising insurance repair work, achieving and exceeding KPIs.
Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating outstanding written and verbal communication skills to build strong relationships and effectively manage conflicts.

Preferred Experience : Familiarity with the insurance industry and water claim management is beneficial but not mandatory.
Mandatory Requirements:
Qualifications : Trade qualification (carpentry preferred).
Experience : Proven experience in estimating and scheduling repairs, with insurance-related experience being an advantage.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of the National Construction Code, Building Regulations, and Workplace Health and Safety standards.
Skills :Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with mobile devices, repair management systems, and the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
Ability to create, interpret, and work with detailed scopes of work.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail, ensuring top-quality repair outcomes.
Proactive and a team player committed to meeting KPIs.
Strong dedication to maintaining safety standards.
