The role of the Continuous Improvement and Systems Lead is to support the needs of, assess, monitor, and enhance business processes for our organisation.
In this role, you will analyse current practices and develop business process improvements as well as implement changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance.
To ensure success as a Continuous Improvement and Systems Lead, you should be a skilled communicator and adept at analytical skills and project implementation.
Objectives of the Role:
Assist to optimise the efficiency and flow of the end-to-end operations of the Brisbane Distribution Centre with a Continuous Improvement mindset and methodologies. Work on a variety of business projects as they arise, sometimes multiple at one time. Build reporting suite to aid in amending KPIs into the company's supply operation. Engage with operational teams at the Warehouses and Stores to assist in developing efficiencies. Analyse companywide processes and procedures. Investigate process shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. Establish norms and standards of company performance. Monitor operational performance and organisational processes. Collaborate with other stakeholders across the company to enhance overall productivity. Communicate ideas and opinions to other members of management. Train staff teams of various sizes. Lead, mentor, and guide team members in new processes. Build the Inventory processes for cycle counts and stock accuracy within the warehouses and stores. Develop, launch, and train on best uses of Scan pack within Pronto, inclusive of regional warehouses. Engage with regional warehouses for training and best practice within Pronto and/or future systems. Design and implement processes for improved inventory control including returns and transfer processes for warehouses and stores. Support DC inventory functions including cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory between warehouses. Key Requirements of the Role:
Experience in process optimization, operations, or business management. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve overall inventory accuracy and flow. A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures. A strategic and analytical mindset. An excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.
