This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Exercise Physiologist to take on a managerial role, leading a multidisciplinary team in workplace rehabilitation and injury management.
About the RoleAs the Manager of Rehabilitation Services, you will be instrumental in establishing and overseeing our new division, focused on workplace rehabilitation services.
Leveraging your minimum of 5 years' experience in workplace rehabilitation with Workplace Rehabilitation Providers (WRP), you'll shape the division's direction and strategy, ensure high-quality rehabilitation services, and foster relationships with clients across various industries.
This role is designed for a professional with a strong background in exercise physiology, ready to lead a team and drive our rehabilitation services forward.
Experience in workplace rehabilitation is essential and exercise treatment and pre-employment medicals will be beneficial, as you support our clients' needs through a comprehensive, evidence-based approach.
Key Responsibilities Division Leadership: Establish and lead the Rehabilitation Services division, setting strategic goals and managing daily operations.Rehabilitation Program Development: Design and oversee return-to-work programs, injury management strategies, and rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs.Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for clients, insurers, and case managers, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services.Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting professional development.Worksite and Functional Assessments: Oversee functional capacity evaluations, job task analyses, and worksite assessments to ensure safe and effective return-to-work solutions.Exercise and Health Initiatives: Develop and implement exercise treatment programs focused on injury prevention and rehabilitation.Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards within the division, continuously enhancing processes to optimise service delivery and client satisfaction.Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, with current accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist.Minimum of 5 years' experience with Workplace Rehabilitation Providers (WRP), with a proven track record in workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work services.Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, mentoring, or overseeing rehabilitation programs.Extensive knowledge of injury management, functional capacity evaluations, and job task analyses.Secondary expertise in exercise treatment and pre-employment medicals is highly regarded.Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse client bases and stakeholder groups.Strategic thinking with a focus on quality service delivery and continuous improvement.What We Offer Pioneering Opportunity: Be part of a new division and shape the future of Rehabilitation Services at Knight Health.Leadership Role: Step into a manager role with room to grow and lead a talented multidisciplinary team.Balanced Hours: Enjoy a stable Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am – 4 pm, with no late shifts.Career Growth: Be part of a growing company with ample opportunities for professional development and advancement.Collaborative Environment: Join a supportive and innovative team that values client care and operational excellence.Convenient Location: Free parking and easily accessible facilities.If you're an experienced Exercise Physiologist with a passion for workplace rehabilitation and ready to lead a new division, we'd love to hear from you
