Manager, Business Partnering and PerformanceJoin Our Team as a Manager, Business Partnering and Performance Are you an experienced Business Partnering and Performance finance professional, who is passionate about making a difference in children's health? We are now recruiting for a full-time, permanent Manager, Business Partnering and Performance to work closely with our CFO and manage a small Finance team.
Who we are Founded in 1989, the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Royal Children's Hospital, one of the world's leading children's hospitals. The RCH Foundation has the vital role of raising and distributing donated funds to the hospital, enabling the very best patient and family care and support, and saving and improving the lives of our sickest children.
The Role The Manager, Business Partnering & Performance is a key member of the RCH Foundation's Finance Team and will oversee the financial planning processes, provide strategic financial insights, and support the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation's mission to enhance children's health. This position manages a small professional team of finance staff and is responsible for key areas of financial management and will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
The purpose of the role is to:
Support the CFO by playing an active role in developing financial operation policies and systems using contemporary business practices.Mentor, support and manage members of the Finance Team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring effective financial management and reporting practices.About You You are purpose driven and committed to the mission and values of the RCH Foundation.You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification preferred.You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, business partnering, or similar roles.You are proficient in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills. Experience using Sage Intacct is highly desirable.You have the ability to build effective partnerships and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.You understand compliance, risk management, and budgeting best practices.You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Preferably, you have experience in working in a not-for-profit or philanthropic organisation.You have a commitment to personal development.Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience with financial reporting requirements and excellent MS Office experience, particularly Excel.Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication, with a high level of accuracy.Strong analytical, financial modelling, budgeting/forecasting and reporting skills.Demonstrated experience in managing a small team.Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.High level of maturity and ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.Ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.Ensures accuracy in reporting and adherence to compliance standards.Proactively identifies and addresses challenges with practical solutions.Why Join Us?
