Data Analyst Westpac Banking Corporation, Sydney, Australia
Job Description Permanent Location: Melbourne How will I help? As part of Deregistered Company Service data team, the Data Analyst is to manage, support and enhance the current established data processes which include weekly production activities, monthly reporting, new business initiatives/enhancement and insight/quality analysis. The role combines customer focus, technical and analytical skills, and industry knowledge to deliver key outcomes for our customers and regulator.
The Data Analyst will work closely with other DAs, Run managers, Service managers and other stakeholders to deliver scheduled data outputs in a timely manner with high accuracy and to investigate any adhoc queries as required.
What do I need? 3+ years of data analysis and/or database management experience, SQL/Teradata database knowledge and query writing, intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong stakeholder management skills & strong business acumen Experience in databases with programming skills & a good understanding of ETL Data Management Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills with experience in Teradata, BTEQ, SAS, SSMS, etc. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills in data manipulation, collation and reporting Good understanding of banking products in general How do I apply?
