Greenstone is searching for a skilled Senior Risk Manager to drive the design, implementation, and enhancement of our Risk Management Framework.
This role is crucial to ensuring Greenstone's resilience, overseeing core risk processes, and contributing to a proactive risk culture across the business.
What You'll Do: Shape Risk Management Frameworks : Take ownership of all aspects of our Risk Management Framework and lead efforts to improve risk maturity levels in line with industry standards.
This includes embedding climate risk management into core business operations and making impactful recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead Governance and Reporting : Own and manage the Risk & Compliance Committee processes, including coordinating agendas, producing key reports, and engaging stakeholders to provide critical input.
Enhance Internal Controls and Assessments : Maintain and support the integrity of our Risk Register and Controls Library.
Facilitate quarterly risk self-assessment processes, offering resources and guidance to business managers to adopt these practices effectively.
Policy and Compliance : Take responsibility for Greenstone's Policy Framework by coordinating regular reviews, proposing updates, and ensuring all policies are escalated for Board approval where required.
Communicate updates to relevant teams for seamless policy implementation.
Business Continuity Planning : Support the development of Greenstone's Business Continuity Framework, manage the testing program, and keep all governance bodies informed of testing outcomes.
Build Key Partnerships : Act as the primary liaison with insurer partners on risk management matters, sharing relevant insights with internal managers and providing consistent reporting.
What we're looking for Demonstrable, tenured experience in risk management, including assurance and climate risk expertise Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Knowledge of financial services regulations and APRA prudential standards Experience in owning and maintaining the Risk Register & Controls library, including developing knowledge resources for the business Experience and capability to present to, and confidently answer questions from C-level executives and Board, as well as be point of contact for external insurance partners Experience in Life Insurance, ERM systems, and preparing Board-level reporting Our Promise to Our People We are passionate about our core values of Customer First, We Care, One Team, and Results Driven, which define how we approach our work.
