Our mission:Serving Society with Superior Quality We are currently seeking an energetic & proactive Trainee OTR (Off the Road) Tyre Repairer to join us at our Port Hedland Branch. Join us to "Earn While You Learn."
The Benefits Mon-Fri role, 38 hour week with potential overtimePermanent full-time position - competitive salary $30-40/hrCareer development within the global Bridgestone business$20,000 per year site allowance paid in weekly installments5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employmentAn extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestoneHealth checks / free flu shotsProduct discounts on Bridgestone TyresAdditional benefits & staff discountsThe Role Gain skills & experience in the field of OTR (Off The Road) tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice.Perform duties at all times with a fully qualified OTR repairer to safely perform tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice and service standards.Under supervision:> Assist qualified tyre repairers in the performance of tyre preparation.
> Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim / tube damage.
> Learn to select correct tyres / rims / tubes for each specific job task.
Learn and understand the importance of equipment used on or off site to perform OTR duties safely, meet operational and safety requirements and if not, report any concerns for attention.About You -Essential Reliable and a team playerSafety focusedCommunicate clearlyFit & able to carry out manual labourCurrent work rights in AustraliaAbout You -Preferred Forklift licence (or ability to obtain)Mechanical aptitudeJoin our local team within a global leader and access product discounts, extra leave and career opportunities.
