The Opportunity
Reporting to the Delivery Lead, this is a Full-time role that sits within a close-knit team who are passionate and focused on delivering technical capabilities to our people and our clients.
Our application has a Windows client, Tuxedo middleware, C++ application server on Linux, and an Oracle database.
The application server and Oracle database are hosted on AWS.
You will be part of a team responsible for managing and updating the application in this environment.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
As a member of a weekly support roster, support the system in production environment to ensure high system availability for business users Develop system knowledge and understand the ecosystem in which it operates Investigate and resolve production incidents Collaborate with other team members to write, test and deploy system code changes Understand system integrations and tooling Technology Skills:
Software Development - Coding & Unit Testing, Analysis and design, Cloud hosted solutions, Production support.
Relevant Technologies:
AWS, Linux, Jenkins, Artifactory/Nexus, GIT, C++, VB.NET, SQL, and Bash.
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
3+ years of experience of software development and/or IT systems support Work with business and technology stakeholders to understand and deliver project objectives Comply with technology governance standards, identify and mitigate risks and follow development and support processes Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and at a minimum be required to undertake police and basic credit checks as a condition of employment.
