A Drivers License and Forklift Licence are required, and experience is preferred.

Rydges Gold Coast now seeks an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join the Maintenance team as Maintenance Manager. This full-time role will report to the Group Senior Facilities Manager and work closely with other departments.
Join us for the exciting 2025 under new ownership and expanding the business, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our property and shaping the future of guest experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following: Plan and oversee the property's inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation operations and effectively manage the property's assets to protect the company's long-term investment.Work closely with the Hotel Manager and Senior Facilities Manager to manage a detailed preventative maintenance program for the property.Lead, manage, and coordinate a team of maintenance officers, ensuring all daily tasks are completed and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.Attend to emergency breakdowns after hours as and when required.Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers.Ensure budgetary controls and manage day-to-day maintenance to budget.Professionally represent the company internally and at all industry-related functions if/when required.Ideally, you must have the following: Experience in a similar role/capacity, i.e., hotels, accommodation.Technical and manual skills to ensure maintenance standards are operating at their highest level.Ability to prioritize multiple task requests and work autonomously.High attention to detail, exceptional time management, and multitasking ability.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.
