Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives We are currently looking for a Staff Specialist General Medicine or Senior Medical Officer/Rural Generalist to join a highly motivated team based at the Mount Isa Hospital to provide high quality clinical care to patients and manage the associated multidisciplinary team within the North West Hospital and Health Service. Pro rata remuneration package (based on f/t equivalent value) from $525,850 up to $650,288 p.a.
The Hospital and Health Service covers an area of over 350,000 square kilometres and services the rural and remote communities within North Western Queensland and the Gulf of Carpentaria.
This hospital has 200 beds and is the main referral hospital in North West Central Queensland.
The region's climate supports an outdoor lifestyle with an average of over 300 days of sunshine each year.
You'll always find people dining alfresco, hiking and just enjoying the great outdoors.
Child-care centres here are in abundance and are dedicated to the safety and stimulation of children.
Schools in the area are all well equipped and provide the highest level of education, with an excellent reputation for achieving outstanding academic results.
The area is expanding, with many people taking advantage of an abundance of affordable real estate and a superb, relaxed lifestyle.
There is the choice between housing in the town, small acreage rural land or large properties for farming and grazing.
