The Department of Medical Imaging at the Mackay Base Hospital is looking for a Radiologist Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
The Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including General Radiography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Intervention, Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Theatre II.
The service includes remote rural reporting for MHHS rural sites, including CT services at Proserpine and Bowen.
The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion, doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2, including a new Emergency Department.
This is now a state-of-the-art fully modern hospital and one of Australia's largest regional healthcare facilities.
You will work within a team environment, contributing to the provision of high standard clinical services to patients of the Health Service.
