Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature-sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.Today we employ over 1800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.
About the Role:Our Brisbane transport depot is looking for MC Linehaul and Shuttle drivers to join our team.
Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods from one location to another.
This role demands a high level of skill, expertise, and experience in operating a commercial heavy vehicle with a gross vehicle mass of over 4.5 tonnes.
Roster Available: Full Linehaul – away a couple of weeks at a timeDuties you can expect with this role include: Working with temperature-sensitive produceEnsuring the safe and timely handling of company freightCompleting relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery paperworkInteracting with clients in a professional mannerWorking closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading, and transportation of freightCompleting essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklistsAbout the requirements:The candidates we are looking for will have: A current & valid MC licence as a minimum5 years minimum experience driving B-doubles3 years minimum experience driving road trains and B-triplesKnowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systemsBasic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)A commitment to workplace health and safetyA strong customer focus with good communication skillsBe well presented, professional, and reliableTo be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testProvide a current traffic printoutBe willing to work weekend roster & be flexible with start & finish timesPrevious refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
