12 + 12 month contract - January 2025 start$140 - $175 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate / negotiableTSPV Security Clearance MandatoryCanberra location, full time onsiteOur client, a large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on foreign signals intelligence, military operations, cyber warfare and information security, is seeking the experience of a Linux Infrastructure Engineer (Apache NIFI) for a long 12+12 month contract, based in Brindabella Business Park, Canberra.
Duties of the Linux Infrastructure Engineer Lead the installation, configuration and sustainment of Linux based ICT infrastructure (physical and cloud based), including servers and/or network devices.Use automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible and others to prepare and replicate system builds.Configure and sustain core services for systems including monitoring, syslog or authentication.Maintain reliability of ICT infrastructure - this includes configuration automation, upgrading and patching, monitoring, along with utilising version control systems.Contribute to the preparation of software implementation procedures, including contingency plans.Monitor operational systems for usage and failure rates, resolving issues as they arise.Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience with Apache NIFI.Demonstrated experience with Atlassian software such as JIRA and Confluence.Demonstrated experience in the use of application management software and tools.Expertise in IT Infrastructure, Problem Management, good programming/software development skills, system design, and system installation & removal experience.How to Apply Please forward your resume to Ben Cousins at Recruitment Hive by clicking the Apply button, or email your resume to citing Job ID: BC10229.
