Due to our continued success and growth, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Credit Manager (NSW / ACT) to join us at our Casula office.
This is a full-time permanent role.
***Immediate Start*** About the role Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing financial statements, credit reports and conduct interim assessments as required.Collaborate closely with our trade credit insurers and external credit rating agency.Work closely with our sales teams, collections, and other internal stakeholders to resolve credit related issues and account discrepancies.Contact, persuade and engage customers via email and phone to make payment on upcoming and overdue accounts (mainly key accounts).Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders (including trade credit insurers and credit reporting agencies).Ensure invoices are issued accurately and promptly.Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable and collections processes.Other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager.About you Prior experience in a similar role is essential, including in a senior position.
A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable, but not required.Experience in dealing with trade credit insurers and credit rating agencies is essential.Prior experience in manufacturing and construction is highly favourable.It is critical that you possess sound knowledge of credit management principles, accounting practices and financial analysis.Medium to high proficiency in XERO and Bitberry would make your application a standout.Resilient, able to multi-task and work under pressure.Your application will include the following questions:
