Where we provide a clean, comfortable and non-intimidating environment for all of our guests. We do not cater to powerlifting or bodybuilding but more so general fitness as most of our members are first-time gym-goers. We believe everyone's fitness journey should feel rewarding and celebrated. We're not a gym. We're Planet FitnessDesired Skills and ExperienceJob Skill Set RequirementsAbility to follow directions wellAbility to work well independentlyAn upbeat and motivating attitudePunctual and organizedRemitDesign individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.Submitting all individual training programs or workout logs, administered to members, to GM for review.Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning and refilling paper products).Inspecting all Matrix and Life fitness equipment for possible malfunctions or damage and reporting if any are found.Inspecting AED equipment.Oiling the equipment (once per week).Monitoring the "30 min Express" area for people who are using it inappropriately.Experience/QualificationsCertifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness. Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof you are working toward certification. If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.Prior supervisory experience preferred or 3 -5 years of experience in the similar field.Gym work experience and fitness background preferred.Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider. Must provide club with a copy of valid certification. If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide club with a copy of the certification.Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.Must have completed a National Police Check certificate.
