The Opportunity At APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy.
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Manager Power to join our Energy Solutions team in Brisbane CBD or Perth CBD office on a Permanent Full Time basis.
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial Power, you will be creating value for APA by negotiating new Power Purchase Agreements and associated project agreements for new renewable energy and gas fired power generation assets.
You will also be overseeing APA's suite of existing commercial contracts for power generation assets.
Key Responsibilities Drive negotiation and internal approval of new PPAs and associated project development agreements (e.g.
JV agreements, development agreements) in collaboration with Business Development Managers Manage contract renewals and variations Key account management for new and/or existing power generation customers, build and foster positive relationships with customers Close opportunities ensuring an effective handover to the contract management team Develop and maintain a deep understanding of APA's power generation revenue contracts Develop and maintain APA's standard services and commercial positions for power generation revenue contracts Your Background Tertiary qualification and/or relevant work experience in related discipline Utilities/Energy Industry knowledge (power generation experience preferred) Experience of working in dynamic team environment with a passion for developing a positive team culture Commercial acumen and financial literacy (financial analysis and modelling) Stakeholder management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Working at APA At APA we're committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
