Specialist Music Teacher

Ghilgai Steiner School is a small, well-established P-6 school located at the foot of Mount Dandenong in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
We are seeking a passionate Steiner music teacher to work with our primary school classes 1 day per week.
Selection criteriaCommitment to Steiner education, with qualifications or other expertise in this areaVIT registered teacherRelevant musical skills, qualifications and experienceWillingness to work in consultation with each Class TeacherA wish to discover and work with the unique aspects of Ghilgai's curriculumStrong behaviour and classroom management skillsWell organised with strong planning and documentation abilitiesExcellent communication skillsDynamism and a wish to contribute to the wider cultural life of the school and communityWhy join us?This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive environment within a growing and evolving school.
