Are you looking for a fresh start in 2025? We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Service Technician who is ready to take their career to the next level.
This role serves as a vital stepping stone for those eager to build a career in service management.
Initially, you will take on a hands-on technician position, focusing on service and maintenance across a large commercial contract that encompasses five buildings, as well as traveling to various job sites throughout metropolitan Victoria.
Your responsibilities will also include completing Defects Liability Period (DLP) maintenance on newly finished multi-residential, commercial, and office fit-outs projects.
In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director, with the anticipation that you will grow into our dedicated Service Department Manager.
In this future role, you will manage a team of 2-3 technicians servicing properties in both Metropolitan Victoria and Adelaide.
We are looking for someone who is proactive about coordinating teams, fostering the growth of our service department, and upholding Highrise's esteemed reputation for excellence and professionalism.

What We're Looking For: A minimum of 8 years of trade experience in the commercial HVAC&R sector.At least 3 years in a commercial management or team leader position, with proven leadership capabilities.Technical Expertise: Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC&R issues effectively.Leadership Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to lead and inspire a team of technicians effectively.Customer Service Excellence: A client-focused mindset and a proven track record of delivering outstanding service to maintain strong client relationships.Software Proficiency: Proficiency with job management software; experience with Aroflo and Monday is highly desirable.Digital Literacy: Ability to create effective schedules, complete onsite reports and logbooks, and manage emails efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in quoting repairs and replacements that fall outside of service scope, as well as ordering necessary parts and materials within department budgets.Qualifications: Relevant trade qualifications and HVAC&R certifications.Why Join Highrise?
