Associate Director Group Strategy

Bring your curiosity and passion for problem solving to influence NAB's Group StrategyLead the analysis, prepare presentations and provide recommendations to key ExecutivesMake a genuine customer impact whilst continuing to build your careerIn this Associate Director, Group Strategy role reporting to a Head of Group Strategy you will:Deliver strategic analysis on business issues with a consideration of customer, financial, risk and other impactsSynthesise findings and develop compelling, structured business presentations that clearly articulate recommendationsPartner with colleagues across Business Units and Enabling Units to ensure their strategies and priorities align with the Group's strategyLead strategy projects and provide coaching and support to junior team membersDevelop a detailed understanding of the banking industry and trends, including implications for NABWhat You'll BringDemonstrated customer 'obsession'Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, likely developed at a strategy consulting firm, in-house strategy team or investment bank (and/or similar related experience)Strong business partnering experience with the ability to engage, collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levelsExperience in managing strategy projects and teamsExcellent written communication demonstrated by experience in drafting and contributing to board level presentation and reportsProficiency in developing financial models and strategic frameworksA positive attitude and strong motivation for continuous learning and developmentRelevant tertiary qualificationWe respectfully ask candidates to hold any questions for the phone interview, where we'll discuss the role in detail and answer any questions.
