Summary of the Role: Exciting role starting early 2025. Lead and manage the production process from beginning to end.
Manage all relationships with suppliers across payments and terms, pricing and the product master, sourcing and product development.
Maintain the critical path along with key stakeholders to deliver seasonal ranges and at once orders on time while managing all deliverables to captivate our target market of those with a love for Summer and an appreciation for innovative design.
Duties and Responsibilities Work alongside the Head of Design and Production, Head of Creative as well as other internal stakeholders to deliver market leading collections on time and in line with the critical path and margin KPI's.
Manage the production process of commercial, innovative, trend-led products that are in line with the business strategy.Set initial development pricing based on margin KPIs whilst carrying awareness for similar items in the market.
Work with purchasing, sales and design to ensure sourcing achieves the required price targets.Ownership and maintenance of data housed in the Product Master Document (PDM) – responsibility for accuracy of all data.Monitor and maintain a secure, flexible supply base.
Build on existing relationships to drive flexibility and margin improvement.
Manage supplier agreements in line with global corporate responsibility standards.Build and maintain improved processes in relation to production.Work with suppliers and the operations team in conjunction with freight forwarders to ensure all stock ready dates are met.Complete work to agreed cost KPI's and timelines.
Deliver all production orders on time and in full.Work with the design team to ensure all samples are of the best quality and delivered on time to all sales teams and distributors to ensure the best result for the brand.Production Maintain key production functions within the critical path and manage the Production Team ensuring adherence to hit all key dates and milestones.Manage the product development and sampling of ALL SUNNYLiFE branded product within the main range and special make-up orders.Manage the sourcing and price negotiations for SUNNYLiFE Branded Products.Manage feasibility of products in the range plan to ensure they are viable for production, and provide relevant data to support reasoning for the inclusion of new products into the range.
Maintain a margin KPI through strong development, negotiations and processes.Ensure factories are fully briefed on product concepts and deal with daily queries and questions.
Work with the team to manage all daily communication with suppliers, over email, phone & video call.Responsible for accuracy of all data across all relevant documents in the process.Visit trade shows and factory site visits to strengthen relationships and source new products & vendors.Ownership of Vendor Management including payment term negotiations, growth rebates, supplier scorecards.Manage our Vendor Manual and Terms & Conditions, ensuring all agreements are up to date and relevant at all times.Manage Supplier performance reviews and recommend action required to comply.Manage and implement Supplier Strategy; recommend re-sourcing opportunities, action plans for cost price reductions.Manage external resources across testing, compliance and QC to ensure products are compliant and safe for the markets.Manage creation of all Purchase Orders in NetSuite.Leadership Manage a strong team, set objectives and manage their KPIs.
Hold regular 1-1's and track their development and growth.
Keep them motivated and consumer-focused.Ensure all team members adhere to and follow all processes including the Critical Path.Skills Impeccable internal and external communication; both internally and externally to maintain full visibility and transparency across the business.Strategic Thinking; identify gaps or opportunities to improve the process and proactively implement solutions.Culture; always be a dedicated team player and drive the team to work effectively by showing them how it's done.Be proactive, not reactive.Be able to prioritize and reprioritize based on the ever-changing needs of the business.Experience with Global Production and Supplier relationship management.5+ Years Managing a Production Team.Attention to Detail; ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and accuracy.Strong ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions on behalf of your team.Other Maintain open communication and relationships between production and other global departments within the business.Work closely with the marketing and sales team to ensure all samples are delivered on time and are of the best quality.Work collaboratively with Finance, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure smooth delivery of all products including management of supplier payments.Measures of Performance Hit ALL deadlinesAchieve MarginsGood terms with suppliersProduct and Packaging; no errors, ensure proof reading process is followed without fault.Stay abreast of all compliance and labelling requirements in all global markets, including managing the quality control process.Maintain strong processes.Maintain accuracy of the PDM.Manage supplier payments accurately and without error.Experience in a similar role for 5+ years.Must have experience managing and motivating a team.Advanced level Excel essential and prior knowledge of NetSuite advantageous.Must be highly organised and very detail-oriented; attention to detail is key.Strong problem-solving skills.The ability to work within a team and independently.Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.The confidence to share your opinion and the respect to listen to others.A strong understanding of working with a sense of urgency.A leader, always from the front. #J-18808-Ljbffr
