Brisbane, Queensland 4000, Australia Full-timeDescription About the Role : Aerometrex is seeking a dedicated Airborne Sensor Operator to join our flight operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and reporting of airborne survey missions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight operation of airborne sensor systems.Evaluating sun angles, tidal, and weather forecasts for project accuracy.Assisting with flight planning submissions to Air Traffic Control.Coordinating logistics like accommodation and transport for field operations.Performing equipment installations, calibrations, and routine troubleshooting.Quality control of sensor data and dispatching field data efficiently.Supporting production tasks as directed by the Production Manager.Benefits on Offer : 16 days on / 12 days off duty rosterSalary packaging / Novated leasing through MaxxiaEmployee Assistance Program (free counselling)Health insurance and retail discountsAccess to online development coursesQuarterly Reward & Recognition ProgramAbout You / Skills and Experience : A passion for flying and travel, with the ability to work remotely for extended periods.Strong time management and multitasking abilities in dynamic environments.Ability to evaluate and solve problems efficiently in field conditions.Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Previous experience in sensor operation, flight planning, or geospatial data is a plus.About Aerometrex : Aerometrex is a leading provider of geospatial solutions in Australia and the US, offering products like MetroMap, LiDAR, and 3D visualization models.
