Our Outside School Hours Care service, Tamborine Mountain School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Casual Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children.
You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:50am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm – 6:15pm (Stay and Play Program).
You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays.
About the role Working in a team of Educators, you will have the support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite. Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids. Strong and clear communication. Team player with a desire to become a service leader. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it)
