The Sydney Private Hospital (TSPH) is an 87 bed Surgical and Rehabilitation Hospital located in Ashfield.
TSPH provides surgical, rehabilitation and medical care.
The hospital operates two theatre complexes – a main OT complex comprising 5 theatres which focuses on orthopaedics, general, dental, and ENT – and an ophthalmology complex comprising 3 theatres which specialises in cataract, retina and other ophthalmic surgery.
We are dedicated to quality and innovation in a wide range of specialties including Orthopaedic, Cosmetic, Dental, Bariatric, ENT, Ophthalmology and General Surgery.
As the Perioperative Services Manager, you would be responsible for the main OT complex.
We are accessible by public transport and have free parking.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Registered Nurse for the role of Perioperative Services Manager.
The successful applicant will be a proven leader that engages staff in the provision of excellent health care and has the ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role that combines clinical leadership, commercial skill and customer service.
As the Perioperative Services Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional standards of care to all Surgical inpatients and Day Only Surgical patients and work very closely with both internal and external referral sources to maximise theatre utilisation at TSPH.
This role is a Senior Management role in the hospital and a pivotal part of the clinical governance structure.
You will report to the Director of Nursing and be a key member of TSPH's Senior Management team.
The successful applicant will have experience leading a team.
Have a dynamic and outgoing personality and a desire to work with our Hospital Director in the development of relationships with doctors and patients, as a key focus.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will possess the following:
Prior experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or equivalentOT experience as scrub, scout or anaestheticsCurrent AHPRA registration as an RNExcellent clinical skills and demonstrated application of best practice, contemporary nursing practice.Minimum of five years' experience post-graduation, with a minimum 2 years at a Senior Nursing level.Working Knowledge of ACORN standardsDeliver the highest standards of patient care with a focus on continuous training and improvement.Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referring Visiting Practitioners and hospitals.How to Apply Click the APPLY button and submit your resume and cover letter.
